Is it actually true that Verizon is the only one offering FTTP? AT&T appears to be offering FTTP services in some parts of the country (I know of Canton, Ohio and NYC), and they don't seem to be reselling Verizon service...

You're right, AT&T does deploy some FTTP, in combination with FTTN that uses copper from the node to the home. I will clarify as "all-FTTP" in the "Fiber to the Premises" article. Thanks. Jim 2.0 07:41, 22 April 2008 (CDT)
